At times our Fraud Service may contact you and/or leave a message for you regarding activity on your Visa Credit, Visa Debit, or a PEFCU ATM Card from phone number 1-855-850-5076. The agent or message will state “to confirm the legitimacy of this message call the number on the back of your card”, which is the PEFCU Call Center 1-800-226-6673. During normal business hours (Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 5:00 pm) call and ask for the Card Services Department, ext 6602.
However, if our offices are closed and the number contacting you is 1-855-850-5076 you can be confident that this is the PEFCU Fraud Service. The Fraud Service monitors all PEFCU card activity 24/7/365 days a year. If you have received a message, be sure to write down your case number before returning the call. The Fraud Service will ask you to confirm your identity. They should never ask and you should never give, your full Card Number or Social Security Number. Only provide the last 4 digits of the Card Number or your Social Security Number.
At any time you can log onto Webb-It 24, Home Banking and review transactions posted to any of your PEFCU Accounts. You can also view authorized but not yet posted transactions, by clicking on the “View Holds” tab, while in the view transaction portion of your Savings, Checking, or Visa Credit Card Loan.
